head unit... i no this has prob been asked before

i have wired everything up, it works fine...

the problem is, it only turns on when all the light are on on the dash (3rd pos.), why doesn't it work on the 2nd pos.?

i have a universal connector

the connections i have set up are:

connector/car

red/black
yellow/red
black/brown

because the wires which are at the head unit postion
are perminant live and ingnition live there is no auxilary wire there

my fiesta was different it two turns and the stereo was on

ah nice one! so all i need is a feed from the ignition switch to the acc wire on the connecter?

yeah or just put two perminant feeds to it that way you can run it with out keys in :idea:
