alternator probs urgent

I have a 1.5 Turbo Diesel (L) the alternator was replaced recently with an identical corsa part. ( with four wires) the alternator is fine the battery is fine but not charging, been off the road now for three weeks desperatley need some help:o

Have you checked the earth strap from the gearbox? I had the same problem on my old hatch, replaced the (rather worn out lol) earth strap and worked fine after that
