Could anyone tell me the torque settings for a 1.6 8v plz? is it 60nm,then 180 180 180 deegres?

christ no - 60nm then 560degrees will end up with snapped bolts or a cracked cam cover :|

its 25nm then 60, 60, 60 degrees

sorry! yes it waz head settings,did it last nite, erm has anyone ever heard of an egr blanking plate?

EGR blanking plate is a plate used to block the hole where the egr valve goes.
