For Everyones Attention,

On Sunday evening I was involved in a nasty incident in Langley. I was driving home in the evening through Langley, when a car with 4 men in drove up behind me very fast. For about 5 seconds they were driving a few inches from the back of my car, so close that I couldn't even see the head lights, then they drove into the back of my car and shunted me forward. I knew that they hadn't driven into me by accident as they were driving literally a few inches from the back of my car for a short while before they drove into me.

I tried to stop my car but they proceeded to ram into the back my car again literally sliding my car along, forcing my car out of the end of a junction into another road.

Obviously, I tried to get away from them, but the raod I was on has speed humps all the way down it. They then tried to ram my car off the road 3 more times before coming down the side of me on the wrong side of the road and trying to ram me off the road sideways, as they came down next to me I braked and they swerved across and missed me and then they drove off at high speed.

This was immediately reported to Thames Valley Police. The police told me that the car that hit me was stolen and that my description of the incident mirrored several other reports that they have had recently in and around the Thames Valley area.

The desired outcome of the initial bump is to get the driver to stop and get out of their car. When you get out of your car, you are attacked and they steal your car by taking your keys. This is referred to as CAR JACKING.

I was fortunate enough to come out of this unhurt and still in possession of my car. Although there was hundreds of pounds worth of damage to my car not to mention the initial fear that this caused for me at the time. I am making you all aware of this to try and show that although we all see these kind of incidents happening on the news, we never think that it is going to happen to us, unfortunately it does.

The advice the police game me was to try and take extra care, keeping your doors LOCKED when driving at all times and just be aware that these kind of incidents happen all the time.

I now have very little time to get my car sorted before the trip to Belgium in May. I need a new rear bumper which I had made myself beacuse it housed my number plate, I need to re do my flushed tailgate, need new rear light clusters as my clear ones were smashed, and lots of dents to pull out.

Thank you for your time in reading this.

:D:D 2.0l 8v. It actually works !!!! :D:D

I count myself lucky to have got out of it in one piece. Im just glad they gave up when they did.

I could claim but it would cost me a ?600 XS plus my premium would go up as I have a 2.0l and im only 20.

So once again the money comes out of my wallet !

Still can't beleive that man, Fuckin pathetic why people have to be so sick in the first place. They'll get caught if they carry on, which knowing scumbags like that they will.
I had a similar incident on Sunday evening coming back from Greenwich, South-East London.
It was'nt half as bad but it it did scare me i have to say and it was totally uncalled for.

The motorway (M4) starts in Hammersmith and its about 6 junctions to Where i get off to go home, the whole journey, a black cab driver was tryin to shit me up and was desperate to have a big long race it seemed. the guy kept cutting lanes and wherever i was going he'd pull in v.v.close behind me literally leaving mm of space.

Doing what i shouldnt have done, i put my foot down whilst he was ahead in the fast lane and shot past him doing about a 100, not wise as a drive a 1.0L due to insurance costs.

He carried on racing down and pulled in behind me, again, really close and dangerous at those sort of speeds.

I dunno what the guys problem was, he was also about 60 and i did fcuk all to him.
Cutting a long story short, needless to say, i give him some middle finger abuse as he pulled off one junction b4 me, amazed me when he just sat there givin it the tosser sign not even having the guts to face me !!

Sometimes it does make you wonder if its all worth it spending money on getting car's looking different but at the same time, why should car modding enthusiasts let faggots who are jealous or just downright fuckwits get to them.

Catch 22.

unluckily, or in this case luckily there is more road traffic police in stoke now than there has ever been. slightest hint of anything like this and u can drive past 1 within a minute, i spose thed let u off doin 60+ in a 30 if your getting chased by some arseholes.
2 weeks ago i was chased by a well modded festa turbo, 3 lads in the car, i was on my way back from work with my m8. we were just wishing they would pull over after they had overtaken us. My m8 was going bazerk as he does, they would have got a serious kicking. And they will soon enough. Thev been spotted driving around town at night where my m8 is a doorman. He's just hoping the traffic lights go on red when they r driving past his place so he can go show them who not to mess with :D

Damian - glad you are ok mate.
Good thing you didn't stop when he hit you - coz i bet alot of people would do...
Dont know what i would do in the same situation. I really dont.

I cant understand how the police can let them get away with it like that... they will know what sort of cars they have been targetting so surely all they have to do is get a car which matches the brief and stick a plain clothes guy in it - then follow in an unmarked unit with a few of them in and see if anything happens. I know its probably not that simple but it makes sense to me.

At least the damage thats been done can be repaired, would have been bad if htey had hit you hard enough to write it off, or caused you to swerve off the road and crash.

Anyway - enough rambling from me.
Glad you are ok. Hope you get the car sorted out quick enough for your trip...

Harse mate, I feel sorry for you. It's well harse, espically when you know there getting a kick out of it!

Last summer, when we were all parked up, we were approached by two lads in a Astra GTE, they were going on about how they were gunna kill us, Ram our cars and fuck us up with baseball bats. Eventually they left as there was about 16 of us and only the two of them. However we later found out the car was stolen, and they had found a couple of lads after us that gave a little abuse back and the acctually did Ram them braking both legs on one guy before making off at high speeds. What followed was a 2 hour police chase which ended with them crashing into a Family car with the parents sat in the front luckily to surrive and the kids in the back also seriously injuryed. Best thing to do if this happens to you is not to confront them, but make off as fast as possible, unless of course you are a boxing champion.

Sorry again mate!

They were in an Audi. The rear of the car is a bit dented in but not too bad, luckily the bumper took most of the impact, and the Audi had a big bumper ehich probably dispersed the impact over a larger area. I honelty though the damage to my car would be a lot worse than it was. The thing i'm most pissed off about is losing my clear rear light clusters right before belgium.

Its very common in Bradford, our local paper the Telegraph and Argus usually has 1 report a night of car jacking. Its usually the same guys, 4 asian men. They steal a shite car and knock into the back of a nice expensive car, when the owner gets out they jump him, nick his keys and they r away with both cars. Bradford sucks :(

The main thing is you lived - cars can be fixed - humans are a little more delicate. The problem is that those of us who mod or spend time on their motors are labelled as Boy Racers, or "neds" if you come from Scotland. Unfortunately Novas have a repuation of being owned by boy racers - (There's a current court appearence going on with that 19 yr old who's been accused of knocking them girls down at that bus stop recently - he drove a red nova. 1st thing my "friend" said when she saw the car was "typical nova ned!")
Those that mod become instant targets for other motorists who see them as a threat to their car (usually a Mondeo, or other reps car) and their ego's. I do lots of Mway driving to and from work and have seen many an incident of cars racing or being pushed to the limit swerving in ant oot of traffic like lunies - most were modless - just occupied by tossers!
Keep yer doors locked - not only from car jackers but also from traffic light jumpers. Pull up to red light, some nob dives through yer window and tries to grab anything they can! Watch out for traffic jams too (not that I'm paranoid or anything!)
