Does any1 know what wheels the sport had as standart and what suspension it had???

Bog standard stellies. Like the SR Nova but not black & with no centre. They were just silver metal.

They had 5 x 13 wheels with 175/70 profile tyres mate :wink:

Yeah i know about the red exhaust! I even know the story asto why it was red!!! and idea what brakes they had, was it just the SR setup?

The Sport brochure thingy i have got says they came with the Astra GTE vented brake setup, but i think i read somewhere that Vauxhall changed this and they had the standard SR brakes when they were produced..

cant be the astra GTE stuff cause it wouldnt fit under the 13 inch wheels would they?

It also says "SR Sport handling package", no men-tion of the billys :?

Apparently they also had the option of Passenger wing mirror (not present as std), radio/cassette - and sunroof!

Because they needed 3x exhausts quick for the motor show demo cars. The company that were powder coating the exhausts were only donig red that day, so thats what they got. The order was then written out for 500 back boxes - in red.

The back box was red as the company who made it ran out of pwder coating stuff and red was the only colour. No billys but these could have been an opton if the car was purchase from stev thompson cars (irmscher uk) as Irmscher at the time did a handling pack that included billys. The wheels are just steels with white "aerodynamic" trims
