I agree with Dave Hay. Can't really fault our country. Weather can be unpredictable. Just before Christmas I was driving up to see my folks and got caught in a snow storm on the A90 just outside Aberdeen, whole dual carrageway frooze over, crazy, never made it to there house that night. If u ever want to turn your car into a sledge, leave u fat tyres on (195+ work best) then find a road like that. :O Best thing is that our pubs can stay open till 1am during the week. None of this 11pm bollox

Ste make sure u go for a play on the A66 Old Carlisle to Penrith road, Gotta be one ov the Best roads for racing on ive ever seen and ive yet to see a copper, Big wide open straights and a few long bends would be ideal for a Valver m8

Twitchin like a pigs eye!

I was up in the lakes about a month ago, stayed in bowness, the road going out of bowness (not back towards windemere) is absolute quality I was only in my corsa sri 8v but had plenty of fun racing (well trying to shake off) a 106 gti !! Even more fun with bald tyres!!;)

I found the road you were talking about. :D

When we were going there we found one of the twistiest roads ive ever been on, pissing down with rain at midnight! :O
