just got hold of a genuine set, luckily I've fitted foggys before so I don't need instructions, but, does anyone know how to locate the mountings correctly? are there some dimples in the front panel like there are at the back for the genuine tow bar? And there seems to be an extra set of fuse contacts to go in the origional fuse box - anyone know which location to use as I've checked the haynes to no avail?

Oh yes i do  , the genuine switch is nothing like what I've come across before, it has four terminals on it, every other fog switch I've used only ever had three.

The local vaux dealer is useless  , so I here-by plea for your help!!!!!!

look in haynes for the pinout on the switch

you'll have 12v in, ground, 12v switched out and illumination

or just compare it with your rear fog

Finally got hold of the instructions, the switch just needed pins 2+5 connecting together before going to the relay!(this is allready done inside the rear fog switch) And they are now all fitted up and working, the odd-shaped marks on the rear of the bumper didn't quite look right to me either, so I used a hole cutter in the middle and worked my way outwards alittle at a time, checking the fit as I went, and lo and be-hold, they ARE the right shape for this design of lamp!! I'll post a couple of better pics when the wings come off for painting.

I got them off the bay for ?25, new old stock. don't think there's many new sets left in the country though, as the guys at VxiSCC couldn't find any!
