Well After breaking my leg I have saved a big fat wod of cash and its burning a hole in my pocket!

So was thinkin of some new rims, but now fancy a Private Plate instead.

The one I want is ?370, advertised at ?245 but add to that VAT and ?80 fee.

That is from www.newreg.com

Any1 know of any other places that may be cheaper?

Cheers 8)

www.dvla-som.co.uk

Goto prefix search and search there. The price listed is the price you pay, all you need to do is buy over the phone and go down to your local licensing office

personally, IMO

they are a pointless waste of money, you pay ?400 for some numbers ? no-one knows what they mean ? and it doesn't impress anyone

and when people see it who have taste, they just think what an absolute ponce you are.

lol sorry to anyone who owns a private plate, it's my opinion

you keep saying they, refering to other people but then say IMO?

Is this actually what people think? or what you think they think?

Nick

all the they's in that scentence refer to the plates, not to people's views upon them.

there is one "they" used in good context, that is not refering to the plates

I love both my private plates.

People who hate them are those that cannot afford
