I bought some alloys and they are to wide that they rub on the suspension strut sheild at the bottom of the spring on the shock how can i get away with it or will it be impossible :idea: :idea: :idea:

mine did this, i now have 5mm spacers all round

mine are 9 in wide so they being a complete arse whats the biggest space you can get as they need st least 35mm spacer

Are they oxygin wheels ? (looked on your feature)


if so they will be an absolute arse, as when you step them out, they will probably catch on the lips of the arches.

my wheels are the MVK version of the common oxygin wheels, they look nicer IMO, and they are thinner, and ET45. Check out features

ermm yeah your gonna have some issues there mate, although saying that i had some 10 inch wide wheels fitted for santa pod an they didnt rub, it will be down to offset as why they go too far into the arch

give us the full low-down on these rims then mate; 9J wide u say?? diameter? do u know the offset? at a guess ide say no - if they are 9J wide

They are off set 35 to bring them in a bit but i got my mesurements wrong and they are 18" but i have rolled the lip on the arch
