There is the chav guy who lives next door to me mate who i usually do cars with. anyway he's just baught a Corsa "1.4 16v". The thing is i started looking round it and it had a 1.2 interior i.e crap seats and no rev counter yet it says 1.4 16v on the back and Sport on the sides. Bearing in mind the car is an L reg as standard and he paid a grand for it. Anyways he comes out sayin do u like my car so i agreed out of politeness. I asked him to show me under the bonnet as i was dubious that it was really a valver. Opens up the bonnet.....1.4 8v SPI. oh how i laughed. best thing is he still says its a 1.4 16v and so does the log book :lol: :roll: . They must have seen him commin with his big wedge of compo a mile off. :lol:

it was soo funny, engine is toss, pishing oil out all over. But he STILL insists its a 16v. Ive invited him to come to me garage to i can show him a real valver. he also wants to race my sri cuz he says "my valver is wicked innit, will beat ur heap of s**t". my car may be a heap but it will kill his corsa :lol:

its got the vaux decals on so i think its just a different boot lid. I knew it was dodgy as soon as i saw it cuz as phil said they dont do 1.4 16v l reg corsa

Reminds me of this evening's antics with the chav who thought my Celica was a standard GT (so the bodykit and GT-Four badge doesn't give it away then....) and thus very "slow". Soon proved him wrong :wink:
