thats the main difference then - all the differences will be to acommodate the motronic ie different crank sensor, different throttle pot etc from the e/c16se engines

As far as I know there is a 12v and 24 v GSi3000, is that right??
They have different tb's
From what I can remember there is an Irmscher PN for a tb for the e16se and that PN is a Vauxhall PN for a Carlton tb.
Anyone have any more info??
Cheers,
Mick

its the C16SE that has the irmscher part number for a TB
std c16se - 17092069
irmscher c16se - 90299976
carlton C24NE throttlebody - 90299976
most probably simply due to the fact that the irmscher c16sei is running motronic management so has different ports on the TB

The I in C16SEI stands for Irmscher.
like C20LET is Turbo.
I'm guessing a C16SEI would be more powerful than a C16SE.
But how much more? anyone know?
