another problem i just though about with my fusion rear when it goes on, is the heat of the exhaust! at the mo i just have the standard mk1 rear bumper on, and my exhaust has melted a tiny bit of the bumper thats rests on top it. big concern for the fusion rear mouth, as its 4 inches big, and the backbox tip is 4 inches. although it melted my normal bumper, would it do this to the fiberglass fusion? help me please people.

get an exhaust trim wht goes on the bumper and stops melting it.

good idea, but, does it actually work? if it can melt bumpper plastic, it'll melt the trim stuff.

Not if its a decent heat resistan one.

I cant imagine fibreglass melting to be honest, not from the heat from a tail pipe especially.

Im sure it burns when next to a naked flame, but like i said, i cant imagine that it would melt.

The paintwork might be effected by it though but a decent heatshield would stop that.
