I prefer to while; maybe paint the sideskirts white too so the front bumper doesn't look quite so mahoosive?

Yes good point make the line of the car follow through more level..

The mirrors are vitaloni california mirrors - about ?40 pair - the car is excellent - i think dave should leave it white tho, really sets it off!!

cheers lads, if anyone fancies a go at 'shoppin it with diff colours and so on, feel free.

As phil said, they are the vitaloni mirrors out of tweeks, had them on my old nova.

think he is ditching the wings for some new ones & not having repeaters in.

It was at billing, we were parked right near the river, in our 'usual' spot, been there for the last 3 years, lol.

thanks for the comments, and as for the wheels, he is wanting some anthracite speedlines, so he can show off the v6 brakes.

I gave a few suggestions as to colours, think he is pretty adamant about getting a 2 tone, i said bottom half same colour as wheels, but i think he will be going for some shade of blue, think aarden would look nice, met blue paint with flat white, and anthracite speedlines, mmmmmm.

but at the end of the day, its his car, so he will do what he wants, dont get anywhere by following a crowd.

as for front bumper, what else could he have with a fmic that big?

cheers.

no mexico red i'm affraid mate, i have noticed you like this colour. lol.

what about a light blue, like escort olimpic blue(i think) on the top & white on the bottom?

David, this is mark who had the manta, hello!

The bumper, again, he didnt have much choice bumperwise as his fmic is, erm, quite large.

cheers.

Once you've had a nova its in your blood for life! you just missed a 1 owner nova sri 78k miles on the clock and was in totally mint condition, no seat wear, or rust under the bonnet! my mate from sunderland bought it for ?700. keep your eyes open for a white standard sri!

dont know of any more yet mate!

IMO he should take a colour from one of the anodised bits from the engine bay - a metalic blue or Purple for example - that way your incorperating the engine (which is hidden) onto the car (if you see what I mean).

A mirrored type of paint would be very nice - wonder if anyone's ever anodised a car panel (or similar effect!)

8)

I've seen a silver top and metalic royal blue bottom'd nova at Trax and it looked v nice...here's a couple of colours I'd go for...

the colour of the cam cover is arden blue, which i think is a very nice blue, think blue & white go well together, also think the anthracite/blue will look nice.

ade, what sort of waiting list u got for the models at the min? if i ordered one, how long would it take to be made and sent? i can understand you will probs have a few to do, jus wondering cos i have a few pics of my old nova & wouldnt mind a model of it?

cheers.
