Bought this car as a project and cant be bothered really spec as follows:
Started life as a 1.6 but engine blew and the guy put a 1900 GTI out of a 309 GTI in it. All the hard engine work has been done but for some strange reason they have not bothered to connect a few air pipes- some of which i have done. Oil breather pipe not connected. Has a water leak as well.
The above do not affect the running of the car and it still runs. It is in metallic grey. I have fitted the late spec rear lights, it will also be sold with clear front indicaters.
Interior is tatty and would need replacing.
I drove this car 2 hours home and it was fine just need to keep topping up water.
Still got 4 months MOT and 3 months tax just want rid of it
?350 - based in essex
Would make an ideal project, can still insure it as a 1.6 gti as log book still says this.
