right after a long time of thinking ive decided that its time to sell my lovely little nova :(
the reason that ive posted it here is because i dont know what to ask for it. the details are below;

Break it u'll get much more than u can ask for it!!!
i'd say on ebay it'd go between 4 n 600
i might be wrong don't quote me on that though!
If you do i'll give ya 25 quids for ur angel eyes 35 if you can deliver em!

i was thinking about breaking it, but if i do that then ive still got a nova to get rid of. and i ant got nowere to store it ether.

i would say clean it maybe pay out to get the wing repaired (unless its already done i didnt really read above lol) might get more for it. would agree with above round about the ?500 mark
I'd go for about ?400-500 too. Although you'd be better off selling the spares as separate. Also, bear in mind this is not a great time to sell a car - try March/April (closer to the start of summer) and you'll get more interest.

I was tempted by a red Jap import (mainly as it was red lol).... but tbh I think they look quite good in black. Just waiting for it to be verified in the Other Cars section; I'm picking it up tomorrow hopefully if all goes to plan so might get some more pics then... one of which may well be 'shopped to a certain mexican shade of red... just out of curiousity of course... :lol: :lol: :lol:

then sell the parts seperate?
if i do sell the parts seperate i will be putting the standard light back in to sell the angle eyes seperate.
If I was looking for a nova, I would shun that instantly as a dog. and carry on looking.
It just appears as if you really couldnt be arsed with it.
I personally, would stip the kit off it and Sell it as standard or as near to as poss. Maybe leaving the alloys on it.
Your more likly to sell the car without all the (not being nasty) tack off it, you would also appeal to a wider audiance.

Maybe if u Clean it make it look a bit better u would get more for it round my area u would get 500 - 600 for it no problem ... standard rust bucket goes for 300 - 400 :S

I think the problem is nobody wants to buy a car that somebody has modded incase they've bodged it, and most ppl like starting from scratch tomake the car their own.
plus the fact theres a million nova's for sale everywhere!!!

Break the car mate, Its not a very desirable colour for modifying. & I think you'd get 250 for it with the standard wheels also. Then sell the rest for more.

nice colour but that car's awful kit looks stuck on
Waste of time and your money, just keept it and run it until it drops then scrap it and sell the good parts separately when the time comes.

What I should have put is: Out of a black/White/Red/Silver/Blue nova or that colour? Im trying to say its not a very commonly modified car owners initial choice of colour. In my opinion making it hard to sell. Probably better to sell it as a standard car.

over the weekend ive been thinking about it and i have decided that as its going to cost me like ?500 to make it sellable, that i might aswell keep it for another year or so.

get the bump strips off, get a set of lowering springs off ebay for cheap, upgrade the interior a bit mk2 dash,sri seats etc
all easy and cheap stuff and will make the car a lot nicer to drive and be more appealing to the eye (especially that brown dashboard :|)
5 cans of spray paint paint it :)

yeah you have bout figured what id got planned, get rid of the door 'strip/trim' lower it, 15" rims, bad boy bonnet, clear side repeaters, tint windows, single wiper, seat splitter...interior and engine mods also. i hope it will be pretty fine by the time ive done it :)

I've seen a couple modified Mexoc's, but then it isn't a common colour to begin with on standard cars (not to be confused with the darker burgandy red, like Nick's), I thought I was lucky to get two of them. And surely uniqueness is good in the modifying world?
Matt; I'd get those side bump strips off asap - a cheap mod and the car will look much better without them

to be honest the best thing to do with the angel eyes is............
take a big hammer to them and smash them and put the normal ones back in. They look tacky on anything other than a BMW. :P

on another note of uniqueness, i've never ever seen another nova with my wheels, except for two locally, non NL
