i got an HPI rtr evo 3, came with a bmw m3 bodyshell

Vfast in the dry lol

for off roaders you want a 1/8th scale minimum otherwise its a bit lost and not capable of taking on the hard stuff.

that one on ebay looks ok but its not a "major" brand so parts might be tricky to get hold of

look on www.cqout.com thats the "iffy" ebay and has a fair few nitro off roaders on there.

chris is right, get a diff first lol

be warned on ebay based nitro cars.

You need to make sure theyre ready to run and have the radio controller and reciever. Some dont. Also make sure you have the glow plug to get them started.

I almost bought one until I realised it was just the car - there's a lot of "extras" that you need to know about which you presume are standard like on battery based cars.

I considered it for ages but decided against Nitro's - 1/10 or 1/12 battery ones nowadays can go for a fair while and have similar acceleration. I have a wee mini I got from Maplin which is 1/12 scale and its feckin uber fast!

:D

I will get round one day to making a Nova shell for it!
