http://www.corsasport.co.uk/board/viewthread.php?tid=194128 doesnt seem to take up too much room and dont fancy a 5hour drive to find out its not!

Nice car. Dont think its 'running 132 bhp to wheels' though. Maybe at the fly..

its carbed for some reason didnt even know they made a 2.0 8v carb engine :/

and yes its probably had a rebore but i doubt its 2.1 ltr

a 1mm rebore to 87mm pistons would only be 2043cc
2mm rebore would take it upto 2091cc but i dont even know if the block could take a 2mm rebore

looks like a bit of a mix and match on the engine front..... tidy enough outside tho but no price!

The carb is off a Manta.

I think the car is a little expensive though, you can pick up 2.0 XE's ofr not much more money with better performance

well if you can make a 2xe 2.1 you can with an 8v aswell so it probably is

plus austin you can get a cavvy sri engine that is 130bhp as standard so that car is easy making the same

im running much more engine work than that car and have got 130 at the wheels. there is no way without a good cam and headwork that you will get that much power from an 8v on a single carb.

hes using the 1.6 cav mk 2 inlet as its a small block engine. its also an 1.8E head so that would make sence as they are the same inlet patturn (1.8 and 2.0 SE and SEH have the higher mounted ports.)

even with the manta carb i seroiusly doubt it. but the car looks clean and with a cam and set of carbs would be a very good car
