is there any way around this being illeagal on the road?? i was thinking all the car has to do is stay low on emmissions to pass the MOT... so would an ecotech valve counter that? or am i totally missing the point?

Most novas are tested under non CAT rules so MOT should be fine. But it is gonna increase the power slightly, so its up to you if you inform your insurance.
