Assuming the Cav engine isn't a big block OHC, i'd say yes.
so that would be the biggest i could fit to the car then
i would say all the small block engine followers are the same but im not 100% sure
could be write but i heard that there was .5mm or so difference between them, but i could be wrong
ideally you dont want to be using second hand followers. When a follower wears, it wears with the cam lobes. If one is removed it should be fitted back into the same slot
Chris
would ther normaly be a difference between sr and gte followers?

no they are all the same
1.2-1.6 are all identical
just for the the thought of it but i take it that 1.0 followers are smaller
1.0 engines have push rods and rockers

what is a followers?
they are what the cam pushes on to press down the valve. they pivot on the hydraulic lifter.
