annoying squeek

lol dont know wether this should be in this forum but.....

There is a very annoying squeeking noise3 coming from around the parcel shelf area. My parcel shelf holder panels where knackered so i bought some gsi 1s thinking that will stop the noise but no.

The noise happens when im driving so its obviously something to with vibrations, and its the parcel shelf cos when i took it off it didnt make a noise.

Anyone else have this, just that its startin to do my head in :)

"squeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeek" get some one to sit in the back when ure driving and listen to exactly where it is squeeeeeeeeking then chop it off :| cant stand annoying noises in my car i grinded my back arch of today cos tyre was ca5tching some times and it was anoying me :|

I imagine that you have large/heavy speakers fitted in the parcel shelf. If so then these cause the shelf supports to move understrain. It could also be the plastic lugs from the shelf moving on shelf supports, try wrapping these in something and go for a drive.

took me bludy ages to find it!!!

it's one of two things (or both)

1. it's where the rubber parcel shelf hanger things connect to the boot, just oil em up a lttle bit wd40 or sumink,

or

2. it's the two metal prong things coming out of each side of the parcel shelf near the back seat, that slot into the holders, if you wrap these in a thin piece of material ur prob should go away.
