i got the kn didnt know the 1.3sr head will fit does it bolt straight on? how much is the t40?
I think 1.2 head is the best one so keep that.
Twin 40 carbs are around ?200-?300, but need setting up properly etc.
You can get a weber 32/34 carb, which you will then need a 1.3SR inlet manifold for.
And cheapest of all, lose some weight
If you dont want to spend loads of money get the Weber 32/34 DMTL carb, K&N bolt on filter and a 4 branch manifold. The manifold will require a complete new exhaust system though.
You could go for a new cam aswell, It doesn't have to be a new Kent or Piper cam as that will be expensive, I believe the cams from the bigger nova engines will fit and give higher lift.
Skimming the head and re boring the engine are also good options. Any of these should show small improvments and the more you do the faster it will be.
Don't expect to much though as it is an old 1.2 engine.
Hope that helps
actually an sri would be better for you but you'd have to have a load skimmed off the get the compression ratio rite, and try putting a gte/gsi cam in it aswell
read the tuing guide in the FAQ's at the top of the page
