this has probably been asked many times but how do you wire the cdplayer so it saves your settings as my last nova had it but it had been done before a bought it

I connected mine up with its own independent power supply. Buuuut... out the back of your head unit you may well find a yellow and red wire, apparently if you swap these over you should be ok I think (as one of these comes from the ignition?)

i've tried changing the red and yellow wires over but when i did the ignition lights and wipers came on as well and stayed on so i had to disconnect it again has any one else had a similar problem
