Who here would say its worth fitting 1.8 or 2.0 8v cams to a 1.4

i dont think its even possible for a start. The 1.8/2.0 are big block engines and i think that the cams might be a bit longer not 100% on that though

Check the parts for sale section of Novaload. I just bought mine from there. ?90 Beware though mate, Getting the cam fitted is costly. Some times the head has to come off as its apparently easier. But then all gaskets have to be changed & Vauxhall want ?175 for all the gaskets Needed & new head bolts. Ive been lucky & a guy locally knows how to do it without removing the head.

Yeah your right, But I wanted to use GM products & thought Id enquire. Bloody rip off though!
All this hassle for a bloody cam! seriously thinking about not spending any more cash on this engine & getting a 2L 16v conversion. I have been offered a decent 2L 16v Astra GTE for ?300 with 4 months tax aswell!!! 76k. All this hassle.
