Hi i am after getting a 1.4 16v engine (corsa sport engine). Could any1 tell me what price a good average miles one goes for? Also i know they are very tuneable so would want to tune it but can't afford throttle bodies plus i hear they need to be set up alot? So im looking at about 120 bhp and want to know what i need to do to the engine to get this sort of power? I may consider throttle bodies but i need sum good points in y to spend that sort of money on them? Plus i know there is some on novas with these engines in but can't find them a link would be very helpfull. thx

its under "Sports"

cps run around 160-170bhp but was very high spec (like 4 or 5G's worth)

a mantzel powerbox and unichip will see around 20-30% increase and wont cost quite as much as the TB's

That's my feature on my nova. power is unkn as it's not been RR'd yet, but around the 130-135region. If you want 120bhp, then a powerbox ir similar and a tubular exhaust manifold should get to there easily.
Good luck with it, did you manage to get hold of the chip and transponder unit too?

It depends how you drive, but if you are sensible and cruise on the motorway you can get 300 out of a tank, and if you thrash the f**k out of it everywhere can be down to 100miles on a tank.

they need setting up once, that's it. They should be fine after that and not need any other work on them.
