heater problem

hello there i have a J reg (92) 1.2 merit

i think it has has a dash conversion / replacement as the heater dial does not work, im talking about the one that does the warm cold air.

i followed the cable which appears to be under the dash on the passengers side, which i noticed the cable was not coneected :/

so in many attempts trying to connect it failed.

was wondering if there is any pictures / guide of how to reconect this.

there,s a photo in haynes though its not brilliant. i had the same problem and it was a bitch! think i did it with cable ties or bits of wire! works fine now anyway. good luck :)

Sounds like the clips on the heater matrix which the cable connects to is broken! iv seen this before, when you look at it,it looks ok but if you look at another and its ok you'll be able to tell theres a bit snapped off yours!

the blue tag on the cable will have snapped off

fire down to scrappy and get a new cable :)
