Rust in the bottom of the battery tray is a common problem, and it leaks water into the drivers footwell.

I allready have one, and you probably will if you look under the battery !?

if not, just get a sheet of plastic like that, it doesn't have to be perfect.

if your getting some surface rust, thoroughly clean the battery tray area, then use to rust curer and allow that to soak in and eliminate the rust, then make sure it's clean and underseal/paint it .

i did have one, but the nice police man broke it when he tried to make out my battery was loose

I always thought they were standard, both mine had them.

Good ebay seller though :wink: Although to be fair , I'd check the local scrap yards first, could probably pick them up for pennies.

i bought stuff from this guy. good chap, went to pick stuff up and had a chat. he does tarmac rallying in wales with a 1.4sr similar spec to benji's but with 120ish bhp.
