What Rad?

I've purchased a 1.6 running about 140bhp to go in my SR shell, its got the standard SR rad in atm, i'm wodering if its worth investing in a GSi/GTE rad or will the 1.3 one be more than adequate?

your 1.3 rad shopuld be fine, many people use 1.2 and 1.34 rads on valvers

you less you some spare cash you need to get rid of dont bother, it'll be more than up to the job

the older cars all had the larger rad anyway

is yours on stilts or does it go right down to the crossmember

urs will be ok but it would be a wise investment in getting the gte rad. its 47 quid from coopers brand new so well worth it

about the same price as my local rad supplier, might aswell invest in one, at least its one less thing to go wrong for a while :lol:

Yeh skoob you will be better getting a new GTE one, as they look so much better. And im sure your Standard one looks abit erm Used lol!! Get a nice big shiny new one. :o
