handled really nice

I bought another one which is 60mm but it handles crap compared to other one

Shall i raise the car and have great handling or put up with handling like tosh and looking good?

I'm saying handling

go for both if you can stretch to it

strut brace and coilovers 8)

forgot to mention that i haven't put strut brace on new one, and its on some astra sport wheels 195/50 instead of my comp mo's on 195/45

is just a personal opinion this really but imo lower is better i would have cut spirings if i could lol no not really i think a drop 0f 80mm - 100mm is spot on i no others will disagre

I think that once you change the wheels over you will notice a difference, if not then you should start looking at ball joints/bushes as the 60mm should handle the same if not better than the 40mm one

I'm investing in coilovers so I can have both, slammed for looks and properly adjusted for trackdays/fastroad use 8)

The better it looks, the better the ride 8)

if the 40mm was on decent shocks and the 60 is old saggy spings on std shocks then its obvious when its not handling well

a good set of -60 springs and some good shocks will handle fine

if it feels skittish look for the ARB on the front. if its got one then take it off, and the car will feel much nicer to drive.

obv decent tyres help too

handleing all the way, Who gives a toot what it look's like as long as it goes round corners well. Plus, When you do out drive somebody in a faster car the first thing they notice is that its a shed...

i know if i was in a car i spent loads on and a baggy nova out drove me I'd be gutted.
