Got my top mounts today from protech, went out to see how they fit the car. But there's no way they will fit without modification!

Rick and CP mentioned having them lathed, is they anychance you could go take some pics of yours for me? They simply do not fit now, as there's only enough room for it to fit through the hole on the top of the turret, with a few mm left on either side. Even then i cant get the bolts in!

Help!! as these cost a fortune and i want to use them!

After a bit more play with them, i can see where about 1-2mm needs shaved off to allow maximum adjustment!

I'll probably do it myself with a file, or take it to be lathed.

Its a bit shit when you pay ?165 for something that needs work to get to fit! The guy on the phone recon'd it should fit straight in with no adjustment :?

FAO CP, Jim, Rick and anyone else running these..

First pic:

There's only two threadded holes that closely line up with the nova turret holes. These are still about 1-2mm out. So i recon i need to lathe off a few mm from the center "bump"

Tryed them the other way round:

Same story again! These are the only two holes that come close to lineing up!

Rang Protech, he said that two should line up, and that i should have them faceing towards the car, is this right? This would give more negative camber, is this what i'm looking for?

Cheers

LMAO..

I cant believe this.. I've gone and tryed them again, this time the other way round, and they are perfect!

The only reason i was certain it was the other way, was because i'd seen pics of them, and they always stuck through the turret, but these must be a fresh design, and all i can say is they are superb! Just need to wait on my coilovers arriving now

Pics!

how do you know which hole to stick it in? is it labeled? or is it trial and erroe as to how much you are altering the camber?

Caster/Camber gauge. However i dont have one, and dont know anyone with one. So i'm looking for rough guidelines to get me on the road first!
