whats the deal with liverpool-victoria insurance? SRboy told me that he was speaking to them, and they said that they insure your car by whatever the shell is, not by engine size. srboy's nova is a SR shell with a GTE lump, but he says that they'll insure him for a 2l 16v turbo for only a little bit extra (about ?100?) than the SR rate. If so, i've got a GTE, is it worth buying a 1litre shell when i re-shell it?
Im paying ?820 fully comp with liverpool-victoria at the mo.

on LP Victoria insurance can u drive "other cars with the policy holders persmission 3rd party" like with cis, cause i need that option when i get my insurance, need to use my mums car every now and then when mines gettin work done on it! ne ideas!?

What sort of quote and where should i go to get cover for a G-Reg standard GTE insured TPFT. Im 19 with 6 points, 3 years no claims driving, but no bonus as wasnt my own policy.

like burrows said my sr has been converted to a 1600gte with cam rollcage etc n they didnt care they said as your shell is group 5 then thats wat they go by! with cis i even lied n said it was a std gte so i didnt hav to declaire the conversion! they wanted 1910 tpff!

somehow im getting pissed of with insurance, im getting quotes for a 1.2i nova 1988 for about ?1500 quid no mods, ahhhhhh why is this baring in mind that im 17 lol just past test

Fair enough ste i see your point, still its a shame for people that want to use the option for real reasons like myself! my mums car is a gold 5 door 1 litre micra, 1 of the old 1s, LOL!
