You'll see a decent improvment on the car reving and a few brake, my mate had one on his 1.2 but not to sure how he fitted it, it was some kind off home made flange!
yep you'l see an imrpovment, maybe a few BHP but don't be expecting miracles.
I'm sure Dan Hipgrave ran a Webber DTML on his blue 1.2 5door, or that might not be a 1.2

you will need a 1300 inlet manifold aswell as the carb / adapter kit

Yes mate, am running a Weber 32/34 DTML on my 1.2 5door..
Its easy to fit if you get all the right bits mate - you need a 1.3sr inlet manifold with an adaptor plate for the carb, you also need a filter to fit the carb, and the 1.3sr throttle cable. Makes a good difference though

They are manual choke mate - another thing you will have to get if your car is an automatic choke lol

Yes it will need setting up mate - mine was originally jetted for a 1.3sr when i got it and all the car did before it was properly setup was rev right upto the red and then die - even without touching the accelerator. I dont think that this is normal though, i reckon mine was an extreme case - it should be driveable at least..
As for fitting - it takes a couple of hours mate - you gotta drain your coolant system, remove the old airfilter and alternator. Then remove the carb and inlet manifold and attach all the new stuff..
