Even with the arch's rolled/cut i think you will have rubbing. You may be lucky and it might only rub when people are in the back, but it will be VERY close. If your arch's are standard, you haven't got a hope in hell tbh. Sorry

Because he'll just find out they don't fit

MikeyB, even with a 40 offset you would most likely need your arch's rolled. I've had some 15's with a 35 offset and my arch's were completely taken out and they rubbed when i had people in the back.

my mate had a set of et35 masitily 5 spokes 195/45/15s and they when we ground the arches on a 35mm lowered mk2 nova just caught the rear arches when he had mates in the back

It's the offset that's the problem with those wheels. Nova offset is 45-49mm. The offset of the wheel decides how close/far away from the hub they sit, for example a wheel with a 30 offset would sit far away from the hub and therefore rub on your arch's. If the offset is higher (49mm), the wheels will sit closer to the hub (i know it's slightly backward lol).

As long as you get the offset (and pcd) right then tyre size can be 205 wide if you really want. 4 x 100 pcd is right by the way. A lot of people on the site go for speedline allesio alloys-they're 16" and are 49mm offset, so perfect for nova's! Hope that helps
