fuel mixture

is it possible to turn the fuel mixture level down on a K reg 1.2i Nova ?
Its faled the emissions test and have only got the car for another month so dont really want to fork out on big expenses !!

Can't tune the fuel mixture down due to it being an injection system (inc SPI) not carb. 1.2spi novas are usually very passable on emmisions, get your lamba sensor checked on your exhaust manifold incase it running to rich.

sounds like the lamder or your cat has died. but it should still be ok even with an old cat. is the ecu light on or ever come on lately. it may tell you if there is a fueling problem somewhere
