1.6 gsi bottom and 1.4sr head

does any1 know if its possible to have a 1.6 GSI bottom end with a 1.4 SR head or will it just go BANG

you'll end up with a very high compression ratio and uncontrollable pinking afaik

cp tried this a while back and the engine wouldnt even turn off with the key

also the 1.4sr head is a lot lot worse than the GSI head.

1 is at the complete opposite end of the spectrum to the other.

hmmm compression ratio tastic.

just stick to a 1.6 head and have it decked to raise the CR.

1.6 valves are larger than the 1.2-1.4 (non sri) ones so what you gain in CR you lose in valve size.

if you oput the 1.6 valves on the 1.4 sr you cold have something but i do not ah certain
