I used to suffer badly, but sleep usually took care of it luckily

there was something on them in the news the other day, saying the reason that 50% of them is due to a hole in your heart.
the blood is then going straight into your blood system with out being filtered and going direst to your brain, causing the migrane.

so what they are now trialling is this heart sensor thing (like a pace maker) which will read the hearts output and see if it does effect you.

so there you go!

oh, and no. i dont get them either.

:x Yeah i suffer from migrianes really badly have to take special tablets for them i had one a couple of weeks ago! My side went numb my vision went all blury to the point where i could barely see and it felt like someone was stabbing me in the temples! Oh and they make me feel well sick!

I have been to the hospital about mine to didnt know what it was at first they thought i might of had sommat had a CT scan and they found a empty space!

So i know how you feel mate and the best thing to do is sleep if you can!

I thought women had at least part of a brain not nothing at all :?:

Three of the most common causes are:

citrus fruits (oranges etc)
lack of sleep
Light intensities - some desk lights give me one, depends mainly if I can see the bulb or just the glow (glow being the better of the two)

just look at these, see if you feel better if you change them, itd be worth it if they dissappeared or atleast calmed down :!:

I had acupuncture for mine, and its worked wonders, I havn't had a migrane for the past three years!

It wasnt just turning me into the pin cusion, my acupuncturist looked at my diet and other causes for why I get them. Just look into the idea

Apparently stress is a big cause.

I get one like every month or so, got some imigrain tablets that effectivly knock you out, really piss me off when i get one tho !

Used to get them all the time up until the age of 17 or so. Then they juts stopped.

Was an EXCELLENT excuse to use to get out of lessons and etc. Like a free ticket. Since you can't verify it's actual existence. Just claim you have one, and feign symptoms.
