mmmmmmmm very nice
looking good, just need a filter now.
Just noticed you have an fse type regulator. Make sure that one actually goes as low as you need it to, as some only regulate down to 7psi which is approx what the mechanical pump shoves in anyway

Very smart mate, I got twin 40's too, Get a bit expensive after they done 1500 miles, Think mine needs a re-tune, Can smell petrol!!! goes well though.

just cos u can smell fuel doesnt mean they need a retune
especially if youve got wild cams as the overlap causes lots of unburnt fuel into the zorst at idle
Looking good mate, where did you get your black mounting gaskets from? Have you got a cam in there aswell?
:D Looks good mate i wanna get some twin 40s on my little baby but wont be for a while yet!! :?

Its got a piper 300 deg cam in it (aparently!!!) I think its more like a 285.
I got the o ring mountings from www.tuning.co.uk as a manifold kit.
They just need a good set up.
Sorry to act thick but what Novas do these twin 40s fit on ? And how much are they and what extra power do you get ?

you can fit twin 40's to any nova (except 1.0ltr) with the correct manifold. costs can vary. its cost me about ?350 for the carbs, new manifold, linkages, cables, filters etc etc.
To gain good power gains you need a decent cam, head work etc. im expecting a 10-15bhp gain
Bet that goes like stink!!
Not a great increase is it really but still worth it would cost me more cos id have to pay some one to fit it :$

Well its booked in for a rolling road tune and setup on the 2nd feb. It had 96bhp before at wheels. I haven't got a clue on how many extra horses it'll have. anyway fingers crossed
