Corsa B dash in a Nova

Hi,

I am considering doing the above conversion and I am looking for some pics of the installed dash and also any comments on hints, tips or things to avoid.

I have heard whispers that you may need to move your steering column - is that right??

Any pics and advice would be helpful - on here or to :

Joff there was a Nova in TV a few months back that had this conversion (A metallic bronze one), I think it's a lot of hassle to get to fit.
If you don't have the issue then I should be able to dig it out and scan it for you.

i tell u mate its a pain in the arse to do, what we done with mine is, remove 1 inch form the passengers side and add it to the drivers, to compinsate for the steering coloum, then u have to remove a vast amount of the rear to fit under the windscreen, which then creates the problem of no windscreen vents, so u have to make them, and something to direct the air to them for the matrix, u will also have to modify your novas steering shroud to fit around the stalks, and the clocks surrounds,
Not trying to put u off or anything lol

I have seen the one in T.V but the pics of the dash didn't show the top of the dash round the screen very well.

As for the steering column as the car is a bare shell I can always reweld the mounts an inch or so over to compensate.

I've got bucket loads of patience as I have been on with the nova for 2 years - whats another couple of months???
