I'm getting an SR (1.3 or 1.4) (when i go full time and the money starts coming in!) soon. The word is that Willsure is the cheapest insurance for the car, or CIS next best. Anyone with either of these comps. and how much is TPF&T gonna cost me - a chap said he got insurance on a standard SR for under a grand! Surely not.
I will be modding it too, lowered springs, brake upgrade and a bolt-on air filter. Oh yeah, did i mention i'm 17 :D, i've got pass plus though. Well 18 in April. Any info would be appreciated. Cheers

Im with CIS in 2000 when i was 17 I paid ?900 TPFT for my 1300 SR with pass plus. rural postcode 'locked garage'

about 6 months later got a 1400 SR and paid another ?90 so if u work it out the premium for the 1400 would have been in the region of ?1080

Still with CIS with the 1400, 1 year no claims, as i said have pass plus, they gave me 51% off for this years premium and it still came to ?830 TPFT so it looks as though its gone up loads in just these 2 years, work that out its like ?1600

hope that helps

Hi officer.
