Hi Sorry for asking such a basic question, it's just a rule clarification in the class of autocross i compete in now allows the use of alloy wheels if they were fitted as standard. So could you please let me know if a J reg 1992 1.4SR nova was fitted with alloy wheels as standard and if they did which ones and which size (13" or 14" or pref both). I know there are SR alloys out there but were they as standard, as the one i bought had the 14"steelies, which i had to dump and use 13"steelies.

cheers

Michael

dont know whether they were optional when the car was new, but my 1400 SR has the 14" SR alloy type on them (although they are steelies). They have always been on too as the car is completely standard and mint

You car has alloys on that are steelies?

I'm pretty sure that the standard 14" three spokes were a optional extra - like the rest of the guys have said.

Optional extra on the SR/i models, standard on GSi's...

Lots of people chose the alloys tho because it made them more 'desirable'

More desirable to twocers :x

Get the 14" steelies, there more "rally slag" like.
