VERY URGENT COLOUR PROBLEM

Hi people.. Im almost finishing my GSi project.. pretty much standard bodywork except rear bumper to fit zorsts. and de locked.. it will ook mint as its being done profeesionally at my works bodyshop! anyway have been looking through colour charts and i think i have decided on silk violet.. except i cannot fin that colour ever made by vauxhall!! is it called something else?? our computer system draws a blank when we put the name in.. it has all the colours on a huge database.. why cant i find it?? is it really called that?? what is the code anyone know?? only thing i can find is techviolet.. sorry to ramble but this is desperate the car is being sprayed this week sometime. awaiting for 230bhp engine!!

100% sure its called silk violet mate, not sure why your database hasn't got it logged? if its a full respray your doing why dont you just mix up some paint roughly to the same shade?

firstly i have never seen silk violet in the flesh just in pictures.. so don't know the shade lol.. oh and i called our paint manufacturer and they have not got silk violet listed!!

LOL you're 100% wrong.

It's actually on the paint databases as "Tech metallic violette" or something extremely close to that (those 3 words are mixed about, but I can't lay my hand on the printout atm).

mel LOL .. on the glasruite colour scheme it is called silk violet..

on max meyer colour scheme it is called techviolet think there are about 3 or 4 different shades.. +d, +Pu and L and L on its own.. well i think thats about right lol.. thanks for all your help..
