1990 E16SE with an F13 WR with 3.74 FD!
I conteplated changing engines and i came to a decision to go for it. It won't cost me a great deal as i already have carb's/cam etc.
Gonna get Bill to work his magic and get the bottom end re-bored and arp bolts.
I assumed that the gearbox was gonna be a c/r one but i found to my suprise that its a W/R! So i'm on the lookout for a 4.18 FD as the 3.74 in it is gonna make the gearing way too long. If need be i could use the 3.94 out of my F10 but i'd prefer a bit more acceleration from a 4.18.
AS it is at the moment it would thereoticaly do 160mph at 6500rpm in top lol.
hope to get it on road in about 6-weeks so i'll be running round Donny on th27th with my 1.3 still :).
