bonnet pins

i've got a set of bonnet pins. what's the best place to fit them? and do people keep the old bonnet catch? what size hole is drilled in the bonnet? or is it best to drill 2 smaller ones next to each other and file it square?

anyone got any pic's?

i fitted some ages ago 2 my old nova, there is a hole in the bonnet already which lines up nicely to the slam panel, if u drill through the hole through the outer bonnet skin then shut the bonnet and then drill down into the slam panel, u may have 2 remove the headlights though as its v.close. then just drill he hole as big as u need. prime the metal then get the rivets and gun out. i kept the original catch though as it is a bit dodgy having just pins on a road car.
