Ok first off,

had a look at the scrappers today at corsa hubs, wishbones etc and they look identical to the nova application. Only thing i didnt check was the driveshaft, I'm running a std 1300 sr 1987 I belive these use 27spline shafts in which case the corsa hubs and c.v joints will fit directly in place of the older sr elements?

Secondly, 256mm brakes whats the best model to get them off, I've found a few vectra 1800 16v's which look fairly chunky i'm guessing these are 256mm But non ATE brakes.

I've also found a Cally 16v with ATE brakes, what do they normally go for and which would be the best car to lift them, also which brake lhoses do i use?

i'd get the ATE calipers off the Cally because, at least you know they'd deffo fit.

mine cost ?60 fitted (calipers, disks, pads) , second hand, from a nova.

you use the old hoses as far as i know.

go for the cally brakes, and as for the corsa hubs being the same, they are. I remember changing one on my brothers corsa at midnight on a roundabout after the bottom ball joint snapped. I used a hub off my V8 project to get it moving again, an is still on it.

oh how that was fun!

if your considering using the TCA's then phil reckons there longer and will create a negative camber, something worth thinking about.

i got my 16v brakes of a cav and had no problems what so ever, and i just used the original brake lines on my 5 door. ive put the same brakes on my 16v but used steel braided lines this time but cant tell you the difference yet

the driveshafts on a corsa will be longer aswell as the corsa is a it fat compared to the nova lol
