Are any of you running standard cally/cav intercoolers and if so how the feck have you fitted it

Been told to fit it over the gearbox but there's bugger all room. any ideas?

most just end up lobbing it behind the rad... which isn't ideal

have a look Here (http://www.novaload.net/features/features.php?cat=turbos) for examples.

I think a 9.1 litre one is used quite a lot.

some one who bought my custom forge i/c had the std one on top of the gear box
if your going to build a nova turbo just do the job proper and sling the shite cav one in the bin and go get a forge one or similar
and dont get ripped off by buying a new eds one either as they are far too much money

go to your local scrappy and get a lorry turbo diesel intercooler. my mate is running one on his cosworth replica escort, using a turboed zetec engine. its massive and he was running over 175bhp at 5psi on a standard engine (head gasket spacer for lowering the CR) with bad fueling.

cost him about 30 quid i think :o
