T40 manifold for a SRi head

hello, i am due to buy a set of Dellorto twin carbs.

The manifold that comes with it is a 1.4SR (square port) manifold. inlcuing all the linkages alternator bracket e.t.c

Obviously this will not fit on a GSi head.

But would it fit on an SRi head with some Modification ? or is the SRi head the same as the GSi head ?

(am torn between tuning a 1.4 and a 1.6 you see)

or for both of these heads, do i need a new manifold ?

Also, the alternator bracket e.t.c, are they are universal, and indipendant of what inlet you have ! thanks

Sri head has round ports aswell-same as the gsi. I'm 99% sure the alternator bracket is universal though.

Get a round port manifold and tune the gsi-if you're going to do it, do it properly! :D
