get one of those electric "dremel" things on it. put a polishing tip on it or a sander and it comes up nice and shiny. just use metal polish then to make it smoother.

looks good epo, i tried cleaning my rocker cover but it was a pain in the arse lol, i want to get it chromed now
ive just got a chrome one ebay!
funny you should ask this, as i was polishing an old one up at work yesterday!
i first put it in the works dishwasher  then polished it for about and hour and a proper metal polishing machine, cum up quite good but it is now surplus to requirements as i have a chrome one, red one and a polished one :|
