wiper linkage

right i have got the piece welded

cut the un used bal joint off

but when its fitted it hits right bacck at the back of the skuttle every time the wiper goes to stop position what should i do ??

either take a grinder and grind some of the corner thats catching down a bit (if i remember rightly the end which the balljoint goes onto needs the corner taking off if it knocks)

or knock an indent into the bulkhead for it to go into

you have probably cut too much off. A lot of people do 10mm off the T piece whereas 7-8mm is your best bet
