i have got hold of a 2.0L 16v redtop engine out of a calibra

what i wanna do is put this into my nova

can anyone tell me what i need to do or what to look out for while doing this?

any common problems that im gonna come across??

before you put the engine in you need to machine off the outer V(power steering belt) of the double pulley thats on the end of the crank and change the cam belt and pulleys. you also need to hammer the drivers side chassis rail outwards to clear the alternator.stich/seam weld the engine bay(chassis rail to inner wing / inner wing to suspension turrets)

engine mounts from www.valvers.com ?50 (good installation instructions)

drive shafts, nova gte shafts / cav mk 2 1600 inner CV joints. or get big motorsport shafts and hubs (expense).

put the 2L brakes on to (ya need em).

injection fuel tank and pump if your novas a carb'd model.

then do the wiring as valvers describe in the instructions on there site.

Look through the other posts about 2.0 16v in this section, theres been about 10 in the last week or so.
