when u say offset et49 for a nova does that mean anything under eg et33 will fit or is it just et49?

et49 is ideal.

et42's will sit 7mm further in towards the wheel arch.
et35's will sit 14mm in towards the wheel arch.

etc.

Any wheel that is pcd 100 will physically fit, but ideally you want your wheels to have an offset of 49 (45 is also okay, but not perfect). The lower the offset of the wheel (ET), the further away it will sit from the hub, e.g a wheel of ET35 would rub on your rear arch's.

Not having the correct offset also means your handling will suffer and wheel bearings are worn quicker.

At the moment i have 17's on ET40, but my rear arch's have been completely cut out and rust sealed, so they don't rub atall but only with modification. Hope that helps

ET50? Never seen any wheels with a 50 offset. I would have thought they'd be fine. You've just got to remember, the higher ET number you go, the closer the wheel will be to the shock and may rub. They may also rub on the front on full lock. But i don't think you'll have any trouble atall with ET50.
