I need help choosing some springs for my rear coilovers. there 2 1/4 inch spax fixed.
I need to know what rate to choose (in pounds). Its a stripped out nova so theres not much weight over the back end anyway.

Just find out what rate it is now and you'll be able to work it out yourself from there, just dont over do it!

how do i know what rate they are now. theres no numbers on the springs.

if they the standard ones that you got with the kit just ring the company that makes them and ask what rate they use with the kits!

I've got some GAZ coilovers for the rear of mine, springs are 200lb, i ordered them at the AutoSport show the guy said that most of the rear coilover kits they supply for Novas are for compettion use (so they'll be stripped out) and they supply 200lb springs for tarmac use.
Can't tell you what mine are like as my car ain't finished !!
